Legal Assistance to Teachers. 1. Any case of alleged battery upon a teacher resulting from or related to the discharge of his or her duties shall be promptly reported to the employer. The employer shall provide legal counsel to advise the teacher of his or her rights and obligations with respect to such alleged battery.
