Lecture Courses. Instructors teaching lecture oriented courses shall not have to teach more than four (4) different courses per semester without the consent of the bargaining Principals.

Lecture Courses. The Instructor shall receive a compensation equivalent to 1/50th of her or his hourly salary per hour of Course delivered, for every student in excess of fifty (50);
Lecture Courses. Full-time Faculty members who voluntarily agree to teach a 3 credit hour course in addition to their regular hours will be compensated as follows: Rank Amount I $2,130 II + 48 $1,975 II + 36 $1,950 II $1,900 III $1,850 Courses not having three credit hours will be paid on a pro-rated basis using the above salary as a guideline, except as noted in 5.32 below.
Lecture Courses. Lecture courses include conventional lecture courses, discussion courses, workshops and seminars. These courses require no special physical plant facilities but may be offered in any general classroom. The student in such a course receives one (1) hour of aca- demic credit for each hour spent in the classroom. One (1) Teaching Hour (TH) equals one (1) contact hour (50 minutes) of lecture instruction in a course listed in the University Bulletin or inventory of course offerings.

  • Representatives’ Training Courses Where operational requirements permit, the Employer will grant leave without pay to employees who exercise the authority of a representative on behalf of the Institute to undertake training related to the duties of a representative.

  • Technical Objections to Grievances It is the intent of both parties to this agreement that no grievance shall be defeated merely because of a technical error other than time limitations in processing the grievance through the grievance procedure. To this end an arbitration board shall have the power to allow all necessary amendments to the grievance and the power to waive formal procedural irregularities in the processing of a grievance in order to determine the real matter in dispute and to render a decision according to equitable principles and the justice of the case.

  • Technical Objections to Grievance No grievance will be defeated or denied by any minor technical objection.
