Leave to Work Full-time for the Union. The Employer shall grant any employee who is elected or selected for a full-time position with the Union a leave of absence without pay, but without loss of seniority, for the term of office. Such leave shall be limited to a one-year period and may be extended by mutual agreement. No more than one (1) employee at any time shall be on such leave.

Leave to Work Full-time for the Union. An employee who applies for leave of absence to work full-time for the Canadian Union of Public Employees or its Ontario Division shall be granted leave of absence without pay and with no continued accumulation of seniority or other benefits during such leave. Such leave shall be for a maximum of one (1) year.

  • Full-Time Union Leave Upon application by the Union, in writing, the Company will grant leave of absence, without pay, to an employee elected or appointed to full-time Union position.
