Leave Sell Back. For purposes of Annual Sick Leave Sell-Back/Conversion (Section 9.1.5), Management Leave Sell-Back (Section 9.12) and Vacation Sell-Back (Section 10.6), including any pre- requisites for such sell-back, for a permanent part-time represented employee, a “day’ shall be calculated as a pro-rata number of hours according to the time worked in relation to the normal workweek for the full-time class.

Leave Sell Back. Each full-time employee covered by this MOU may sell back leave from the Employee Leave Bank at his or her current rate of pay up to two (2) times per calendar year, up to eighty (80) hours, provided that there are at least eighty (80) hours remaining after each such sell back.

Reporting of leave will be submitted to the College. All leave requests will be submitted within the required time limits.

  • Leave Pay A. Fifteen (15) days of sick leave shall be credited to a school year employee after reporting for their first day of work. All unused sick leave and personal leave days from the current year will be added to the bank of sick days for the following year. All unused sick leave days in excess of ninety (90) days shall be returned to the employee at the end of the current school year on the basis of fifteen dollars ($15.00) per day.

  • Sick Leave Buyback The Board agrees to buy sick leave days back from those teachers who have more than one hundred (100) accumulated sick leave days at the end of a school year. The value of each unused day will be determined based on the formula in Section A above. The total amount calculated will be deposited into the teacher’s Section 401(a) account. If a teacher has in excess of 6 personal days, the days will be transferred to the total sick day accumulation for this calculation. The number of days will be figured using the above chart in this section.

  • Call Back From Vacation (a) Employees who have commenced their annual vacation shall not be called back to work, except in cases of extreme emergency.

  • Leave Year The leave year begins with the first full payroll period of a calendar year and ends with the payroll period in which December 31st falls.

  • Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation Pursuant to Education Code section 71028 and Public Contract Code section 10115, the District may have a participation goal for disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) of at least three (3) percent per year of funds expended each year by the District on projects that use funds from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office. This Project may use funds allocated under the Act. Therefore, to the extent feasible and pertaining to future hirings, the Consultant, before it executes the Agreement, shall provide to the District certification of compliance with the procedures for implementation of DVBE contracting goals, appropriate documentation identifying the amount(s) intended to be paid to DVBEs in conjunction with the contract, and documentation demonstrating the Consultant’s good faith efforts to meet these goals.
