Leave of Absence for Employees on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Nurses' Association. An employee who is elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Nurses' Association other than to the office of President shall be granted such leave of absence as she or he may require to fulfil the duties of the position without loss of seniority and benefits. Leave of absence for board members of the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above. Reasonable notice – sufficient to adequately allow the Home to minimize disruption of its services shall be given to the Home for such leave of absence.

The Employer will consider requests for additional days off beyond one-hundred (100) days, subject to the operational requirements of the Home. Such requests will not be unreasonably denied.   • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • Leave, Board of Directors A nurse who is elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Nurses' Association, other than to the office of President, shall be granted upon request such leave(s) of absence as she or he may require to fulfill the duties of the position. Reasonable notice - sufficient to adequately allow the Hospital to minimize disruption of its services shall be given to the Hospital for such leave of absence. Notwithstanding Article 10.04, there shall be no loss of seniority or service for a nurse during such leave of absence.
