Leave for Union Position. An employee who is elected or selected for a full-time position with the Union, Saskatchewan Federation of Labour, or Canadian Labour Congress, shall be granted leave of absence without loss of seniority for a period of one year. Such leave shall be renewed each year, upon request, during her term of office. Such employee shall continue to receive her salary and benefits from the Employer, conditional on reimbursement of such salary and full benefits costs by the Union to the Employer.
Leave for Union Position. An employee who is elected or selected for a full-time position with the Union or any labour body with which the Union is affiliated, shall be granted an unpaid leave of absence. Such leave may be renewed as necessary.
Leave for Union Position a. Leave without pay, from a position with the Board, shall be granted for one term to an employee who is elected to a full-time position with the Union. Upon request, the Board shall grant one extension of the leave without pay. The employee shall continue to be on leave from the original position from which leave was granted.

Such employee, upon one month's notice of his/her desire to return to work with the Company, shall subject to his/her seniority and ability to satisfactorily perform the required work, be placed in the position previously held or one at an equal rate of pay. If such positions are not available the employee shall, subject to seniority and ability, be placed on a job he/she can satisfactorily perform, retaining the seniority possessed at the time such leave of absence was granted.
Leave for Union Position. Leave of absence without pay shall be granted to an employee for a temporary or full-time position with the Union.. Leaves for a union position shall not exceed one (l) in number at any one time. Application for renewal of such leave must be made one (1) week prior to the expiration of leave.
