Leave for Stewards. Operational requirements permitting, NAV CANADA shall grant leave with pay to an employee to enable him or her to carry out his or her functions as a Xxxxxxx on NAV CANADA's premises. When the discharge of these functions require an employee who is a Xxxxxxx to leave his or her normal place of work, the employee shall report his or her return to his or her supervisor whenever practicable.
Leave for Stewards. A Xxxxxxx shall obtain the permission of his or her immediate supervisor before leaving his or her work to investigate with fellow employees complaints of an urgent nature, to meet with local management for the purpose of dealing with such complaints or problems, and to attend meetings called by management. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. After the Xxxxxxx resumes his or her duties, he or she shall notify his or her supervisor as soon as practicable.

  • Overtime for Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee working less than the normal hours per day of a full-time employee, and who is required to work longer than their regular workday, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours so worked, up to and including the normal hours in the workday of a full-time employee.

  • Leave of Absence for Union Functions a) Upon request to the Employer, an Employee elected or appointed to represent the Union at conventions shall be allowed leave of absence with pay and benefits.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Overtime Meal Employees requested to work more than two (2) hours overtime after completion of their regular shift, will be given one-half (1/2) hour on Company time to eat their lunch and will be given seven dollars ($7.00) meal money.
