Leading Hand. A leading hand is a employee who is given by the company, or the company's agent, the responsibility of directing and/or supervising the work of one or more other persons. Leading Hand. Where the Employer at its sole discretion appoints an Employee as a leading hand, such an Employee shall be paid an allowance of $30.00 per week above the minimum rate of pay for the appropriate classification as set out in subclause 32.1 of this clause, excluding Grounds Supervisor, Transformer Leading Hand and Garden Supervisor.
