LEADER PAY. The Company, at its exclusive discretion, may assign or remove an employee as a Leader. An Employee assigned as a Leader will, in addition to his/her regular duties, under supervisor’s direction, assist and direct the work of other employees in the performance of their duties. The Leader will not participate in the duties of hiring, dismissal and/or disciplinary activities. An Employee acting in this capacity will be paid a premium of five percent (5%) of the top job rate in the group.

LEADER PAY. Those individuals awarded and who retain the title of “Lead” as well as those employees temporarily assigned to lead positions will receive one dollar twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour additional pay for all time worked.

An employee shall be paid this leader rate for all time actually worked in this capacity and for all paid time off, provided the employee is so assigned prior to and subsequent to their paid time off. Typically, duties may include, but are not limited to, training and direction of employees, manpower requests, material ordering, scheduling and planning work, communication with other parts of the organization and customers, the collection and verification of time card completion and the reporting of job related problems to their supervisor.   • Shift Pay Each full-time employee scheduled to work on any shift commencing after 9:00 a.m. shall be paid a shift premium of seventy- five cents ($0.75) per hour for all hours worked by him/her on that shift and overtime hours worked in continuity with such shift. Shift premiums payable under this provision shall not be included as part of the employee’s regular pay for purposes of computing overtime pay.

  • Preceptor Pay Any nurse assigned as a preceptor shall receive a premium of one dollar fifty cents ($1.50) per hour.

  • Personnel Selection Leave With Pay Where an employee participates in a personnel selection process, including the appeal process where applicable, for a position in the Public Service or in the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, as defined in the Public Service Labour Relations Act, the employee is entitled to leave with pay for the period during which the employee's presence is required for purposes of the selection process, and for such further period as the Employer considers reasonable for the employee to travel to and from the place where his presence is so required.

  • Education Leave Without Pay I. The Employer recognizes the usefulness of education leave. Upon written application by the employee and with the approval of the Employer, an employee may be granted education leave without pay for varying periods of up to one (1) year, which can be renewed by mutual agreement, to attend a recognized institution for studies in some field of education in which preparation is needed to fill the employee’s present role more adequately or to undertake studies in some field in order to provide a service which the Employer requires or is planning to provide.

  • Overtime Pay Calculation Overtime shall not be claimed or received for less than fifteen (15) minutes. If overtime amounts to fifteen (15) minutes, or more, it shall be paid for the total period.

  • Show-up Pay (a) Except as otherwise required by State law, Employees reporting for work and for whom no work is provided, except when given prior notification not to report to work, shall receive two (2) hours pay at the regular straight time hourly rate. Employees who are directed to start work shall receive four (4) hours of pay at the regular straight time hourly rate. Employees who work beyond four (4) hours shall be paid for actual hours worked. Whenever reporting pay is provided for employees, they will be required to remain at the Project Site and available for work for such time as they receive pay, unless released earlier by the principal supervisor of the Contractor(s) or his/her designated representative. Each employee shall furnish his/her Contractor with his/her current address and telephone number, and shall promptly report any changes to the Contractor.
