Lay Out. (a) Seller shall be, and shall ensure that the Contractor and any Subcontractor is, responsible for the true and accurate laying out of the Work by reference to original points, lines and levels of reference given by Buyer’s Representative and provide all necessary instruments, appliances and labor thereforetherefor.

  • LAY-OFFS The Parties recognize the substantial effort and cost involved in recruiting workers from out of Province to the Project but it is also accepted that workers within the local unions from Alberta expect consideration in terms of job retention on Alberta projects. Therefore a lay-off protocol designed to balance these two interests will be developed as per Appendix 2.

  • Lay-Off An employee who has one (1) year or more of continuous employment and who is laid off is entitled to be paid severance pay at the time of lay-off.

  • STRIKE OR LOCK-OUT 11.1 In view of the orderly procedure established by this Agreement for the settling of disputes and the handling of grievances, the Union agrees that during the life of this Agreement there shall be no strike and the Board agrees that there shall be no lockout of the Members in this bargaining unit.   • Lay-off Procedure (a) In the event of lay-off, the Employer shall first lay-off Employees in the reverse order of their seniority within their classification, provided that there remain on the job Employees who have the skills to perform the work.

  • Lost Keys, Lock Outs The Resident will be responsible for the cost of replacing lost keys (e.g., room key, mailbox key, etc.) at a cost determined by the Manager, to a maximum of $20.00 per key. If the Resident is locked out of the Resident’s Room, the Resident will pay a fee for letting the Resident into the Room, to a maximum of $5.00, or will be provided with a temporary key to be returned immediately after use. Failure to return a temporary card in the time allotted will result in a replacement fee to a maximum of $20.00.

  • NO STRIKE OR LOCK-OUT There shall be no strike or lock-out during the term of this Collective Agreement. The terms “strike” and “lock-out” shall be as defined in the Ontario Labour Relations Act.

  • Contractor’s Xxxxxxxx to City Compensation. The Contractor shall send invoices to the City on a monthly or bi-monthly basis for the amounts to be paid pursuant to this contract. Each invoice shall document, to the reasonable satisfaction of the City: such information as may be reasonably requested by the City. Within 60 days after the City receives an invoice, the City shall send the Contractor a check in payment for all undisputed amounts contained in the invoice.

  • Lock-Outs No lock-out of ASF Members shall be instituted by the Employer during the term of this Agreement.

  • LAY-OFF & RECALL These provisions shall be utilized to protect regular employees, wherever possible, from loss of employment, with the exception of employees who are dismissed for cause.
