Law Compliance. In providing the SOLID WASTE HANDLING SERVICES required by this AGREEMENT, CONTRACTOR shall observe and comply with all applicable federal and, state laws, regulations and codes regarding the provision of the SOLID WASTE HANDLING SERVICES described herein, as such may be amended from time to time, including where required by such laws, the funding and maintenance of sufficient closure and post-closure maintenance financial assurances for any landfill operated or utilized by CONTRACTOR for disposal of the SOLID WASTE. Any violation of this Paragraph shall constitute a major breach.
Law Compliance. Neither Hersha Owner nor Hersha Lessee has received any written notice from any Governmental Authority nor do they have actual knowledge that all or any portion of the Premises are in material violation of any applicable building codes, zoning law or land use law, environmental law or regulation, or any applicable local, state or federal law or regulation relating to the Premises, which material violation has not been cured or remedied in accordance with applicable law prior to the Effective Date or which will not be cured in accordance with all applicable laws at or prior to Closing.
Law Compliance. The DEVELOPER and the COUNTY will comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines related to performance under this DA. In particular, the DEVELOPER verifies and affirms that it is in compliance with the 8 USC, Section 1324, prohibiting the employment either directly or by contract, subcontract, or exchange of unauthorized aliens in the United States. The COUNTY will consider the employment of unauthorized aliens by the DEVELOPER or by any contractor or vendor of the DEVELOPER during the term of the DA a violation of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Such violation shall be cause for unilateral cancellation of this DA by the COUNTY.
Law Compliance. Contractor will abide by and assist the District in satisfying all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances related to performance under this Agreement. Contractor will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, disability, marital status, or national origin.
