The Late Departure clause establishes the rules and consequences when a party fails to vacate a property or location by the agreed-upon time. Typically, this clause specifies additional fees or penalties that will be incurred for each hour or day of delay, and may outline procedures for notifying the other party of the late departure. Its core function is to incentivize timely departure, prevent scheduling conflicts, and compensate the non-breaching party for any inconvenience or loss caused by the delay.
Late Departure. To request a late departure, I must submit a late departure request to the Resident/Complex Director. If my request is approved, I will be assessed an additional daily fee for the duration of my extended stay, per the rates published on the Housing website.
