Language and Speech Specialist support providers shall be paid an annual stipend of one thousand dollars ($1,000) or at a factor of 0.020.
Language and Speech Specialist any unit member enrolled in a Language and Speech Specialist Credential Program and serving as a Language and Speech Specialist shall be reimbursed up to eight thousand dollars ($8,000) each school year for successful completion of required course work in a Language and Speech Specialist Credential Program. Upon receipt of the appropriate credential, the unit member receiving said reimbursement must commit to three (3) years of service to the Palmdale School District as a credentialed Language and Speech Specialist pending an available position. Any unit member not fulfilling the three-year commitment shall repay the District for said reimbursement upon separation from the District.
