Lane Movement. Employees on the Teacher Assistant/Library Assistant pay schedule can move to a higher lane twice per year. Original (unopened) transcripts received by the District Office by October 1st will qualify the employee for a lane movement that will be applied retroactively to the first day of the employee’s work year. Original (unopened) transcripts received by the District Office by February 1st will qualify the employee for a lane movement that will be retroactively applied to the first work day of the 2nd semester of the school year. The pay adjustment will start on the 14th payroll of the year.
Lane Movement. The Professional Growth Committee may certify to the Business Manager at any time the acceptability of additional credits or evidence of the completion of a degree; however, salary adjustments will be made twice yearly on September 10 and February 1 with the full amount of the increase granted for changes approved prior to September 10 and 50% of the increase being granted for changes approved between September 10 and February 1.

Lane Movement. A. To qualify for placement on the B.A. plus schedules, graduate hours (semester hours) must have been taken after receipt of the B.A. degree and Teacher’s certificate. Effective July 1, 2017, the Parties agree to delete educational lanes BA+8, BA+24, BA+36, and MA+15 from the salary schedule. Teachers who are in the BA+8, BA+24, and BA+36 lanes on or before the ratification of this Agreement will remain in those lanes until they either advance to BA+16, MA, MA+30, or MA+45, or become eligible for longevity, or enter the retirement track. No other Teachers will be able to move into BA+8, BA+24, or BA+36. Teachers who are in MA+15 on or before the ratification of this Agreement will remain in that lane until they either advance to MA+30 or MA+45, or become eligible for longevity or enter the retirement track. Any Teachers who are in the MA lane AND earning credits towards the MA+15 lane on or before the ratification of this Agreement may enter the MA+15 lane if eligible on or before January 1, 2020. No other Teachers will be able to move into the MA+15 lane. For the Teachers who are eligible to move into MA+15, Teachers will be allowed to receive up to 7.5 semester hours from workshop credit through and beyond MA+15. Credit must be applicable to the field of teaching and approved by the Superintendent. To qualify for placement beyond the M.A. schedule, credit must be in graduate hours, specifically applicable to the Teacher’s assignment, and approved by the Superintendent. Workshop credit must also be approved by the Superintendent and be applicable to the teaching assignment. Only credit/workshop hours earned after conferral of the M.A. degree will be considered. In the event a Teacher decides to voluntarily purchase graduate credit in a District-approved course, the Board agrees to honor the graduate credit(s) for the purpose of lane advancement.

  • Step Movement During the period from September 1, 2009 through August 27, 2011, there shall be no non-probationary step movements, including any step movement provided for in other provisions of this Agreement. Step movement shall resume on August 28, 2011. Employees hired or promoted between September 1, 2009 and August 27, 2011 shall not receive a probationary step increase. Upon resumption of step movement, the employee’s step date shall be the employee’s date of hire or promotion. No retroactive movement shall occur for the two (2) years that have been skipped. Upon resumption of step movement, newly hired employees will move to the next step in their pay range after completion of their probationary period. In periods other than September 1, 2009 through August 27, 2011, newly hired employees hired on or after November 1, 2015 will move to the next step in the pay range after completion of one hundred eighty (180) days in active pay status, and every year thereafter provided the employee has successfully completed his/her probationary period.

  • Horizontal Movement The Board encourages all unit members to improve their skills through advanced training and, as an inducement thereto, provides extra compensation for those who do so successfully. The Board delegates to the Superintendent the responsibility for assuring that unit members comply with the following regulations when claiming credit for advanced studies.

  • Household Component The Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) provides nationally representative estimates of health care use, expenditures, sources of payment, and health insurance coverage for the U.S. civilian non-institutionalized population. The MEPS Household Component (HC) also provides estimates of respondents’ health status, demographic and socio-economic characteristics, employment, access to care, and satisfaction with health care. Estimates can be produced for individuals, families, and selected population subgroups. The panel design of the survey, which includes 5 Rounds of interviews covering 2 full calendar years, provides data for examining person level changes in selected variables such as expenditures, health insurance coverage, and health status. Using computer assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) technology, information about each household member is collected, and the survey builds on this information from interview to interview. All data for a sampled household are reported by a single household respondent. The MEPS-HC was initiated in 1996. Each year a new panel of sample households is selected. Because the data collected are comparable to those from earlier medical expenditure surveys conducted in 1977 and 1987, it is possible to analyze long-term trends. Each annual MEPS-HC sample size is about 15,000 households. Data can be analyzed at either the person or event level. Data must be weighted to produce national estimates. The set of households selected for each panel of the MEPS HC is a subsample of households participating in the previous year’s National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) conducted by the National Center for Health Statistics. The NHIS sampling frame provides a nationally representative sample of the U.S. civilian non-institutionalized population and reflects an oversample of blacks and Hispanics. In 2006, the NHIS implemented a new sample design, which included Asian persons in addition to households with black and Hispanic persons in the oversampling of minority populations. MEPS further oversamples additional policy relevant sub- groups such as low income households. The linkage of the MEPS to the previous year’s NHIS provides additional data for longitudinal analytic purposes.

  • Built-up Area The built-up area for the Designated Apartment or any other Unit shall mean the Carpet Area of such Unit and Balcony area and 50% (fifty percent) of the area covered by those external walls which are common between such Unit/Balcony and any other Unit/Balcony and the area covered by all other external walls of the such Unit/Balcony.
