Landscaping Plans. (a) The Developer covenants and agrees that the Landscaping Plans for the Municipal Improvements shall comply, be designed, and be constructed in accordance with the Landscape Standards and Specifications to the satisfaction of the Municipal Parks Representative. All Landscape Plans shall be sealed and signed by a Registered Landscape Architect with a current membership in the Alberta Association of Landscape Architects. All drawings and supplemental material(s) for irrigation systems that will be turned over to the Municipality shall be stamped and signed by a Certified Irrigation Designer (CID) – Commercial. The certification must be issued by the Canadian Prairie Chapter Irrigation Association,. The certified designer must be in good standing with the Association.

Landscaping Plans. Prior to installation of the Slope and Landscaping Improvements or any associated revegetation, Grantee shall submit landscaping plans to County for review and approval.
Landscaping Plans. This task includes the preparation of the landscaping plans. It is assumed that the landscaping will include hydroseeding of the new embankment slopes and revegetation of the disturbed areas within the river with native species. Only native trees, shrubs and ground covers will be used. Existing native plant materials will be preserved and protected and invasive non-native species will be removed when feasible. A survey of existing trees and shrubs will be prepared to include location, type, size and general health. This information will be evaluated and incorporated into the final design as appropriate. Since only native species will be used, no irrigation will be required. The special provisions will provide for a plant establishment period.
