Common use of Labour Laws Clause in Contracts

Labour Laws. The contractor has to comply with all the legal requirements under the Prohibition of Employment of Children Act, Minimum Wages Act, Workmen Compensation Act, Payment of Wages Act, Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act 1970 and any other Labour Acts, Abolition of Manual Scavenge ring and Rehabilitation Act in force, as modified by the Government from time to time. The contractor has to provide protective wears like shoes, face mask, gloves, water protective apron etc to the contract labours failing which the labour will not be permitted to work. The contractor has to comply all the statutory eligible payment to the labourers such as minimum wages with VDA, ESI-EE contribution, Bonus etc as per the Labour Laws in force and amended from time to time (applicable if the contractor having an aggregate labour of above 20 for EPF and above 10 for ESI) and any inflation in the above rates shall be borne by the contractor. A declaration should be submitted by the contractor every month that he has complied all the legal requirements of the Acts mentioned above. The contractor has to comply all the statutory eligible payment to the labourers such as minimum wages with variable dearness allowance notified time to time by Ministry Of Labours & Employment, Govt of India, bonus etc and any other provisions as per the labour laws in force and amended from time to time.
