Laboratory Testing. The project engineer will review field data and assign laboratory tests. Based on our understanding of the project, assigned tests may include the following. Moisture content Unit weight Atterberg limits Percent finer than No. 200 Sieve Unconfined compressive strength Our laboratory testing program includes examination of soil samples by an engineer. Based on the results of our field and laboratory programs, we will describe and classify soil samples in accordance with the Unified Soil Classification System (USCS). Engineering and Project Delivery Results of our field and laboratory programs will be evaluated by a professional engineer. The engineer will develop a geotechnical site characterization, perform the engineering calculations necessary to evaluate foundation alternatives, and develop appropriate geotechnical engineering design criteria for earth-related phases of the project. Your project will be delivered using our GeoReport® system. Upon initiation, we provide you and your design team the necessary link and password to access the website (if not previously registered). Each project includes a calendar to track the schedule, an interactive site map, a listing of team members, access to the project documents as they are uploaded to the site, and a collaboration portal. The typical delivery process includes the following: Project Planning Proposal information, schedule and anticipated exploration plan will be posted for review and verification Site Characterization Findings of the site exploration Geotechnical Engineering Recommendations and preliminary geotechnical report When utilized, our collaboration portal documents communication, eliminating the need for long email threads. This collaborative effort allows prompt evaluation and discussion of options related to the design and associated benefits and risks of each option. With the ability to inform all parties as the work progresses, decisions and consensus can be reached faster. In some cases, only minimal uploads and collaboration will be required, because options for design and construction are limited or unnecessary. This is typically the case for uncomplicated projects with no anomalies found at the site. When services are complete, we upload a printable version of our completed preliminary geotechnical report, including seal and signature, which documents our services. Previous submittals, collaboration and the report are maintained in our system. This allows future reference and integr...
Laboratory Testing. The Provider will analyze water samples for Enterococci bacteria using Method 1600: Enterococci in Water by Membrane Filtration Using membrane-Enterococcus Indoxyl-$-D-Glucoside Agar (mEI) July 2006 (xxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx/waterscience/methods/method/biological/1600.pdf) or the IDEXX Enterolert™ system. The local contractor or designated laboratory shall have a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan. Plans approved by other entities (state/federal/commercial) and adopted by the Provider may be considered. Upon execution of this Contract, the Provider shall provide the GLO Beach Watch Coordinator with the name, address, phone and fax numbers, and point of contact (with e-mail) for the laboratory, if separate from the Provider.
Laboratory Testing. All laboratories selected by the City for analyzing drug-testing specimens will be SAMHSA certified. The City agrees to notify the Union of any change of SAMHSA approved laboratories used for drug testing for whatever reason.
Laboratory Testing a) Any laboratory testing necessary to conduct soils surface and subsurface characterization applicable to the needs of the project which are identified in the COUNTY approved Scope of Work or as otherwise approved by the COUNTY, will be performed by the A-E in accordance with County of Orange Standards and Procedures using California Test Methods (CTM) and/or American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards. Caltrans certified technicians and Caltrans laboratory certification may be required to satisfy the needs of the investigation and/or construction monitoring for all projects.
Laboratory Testing. Laboratory tests will be assigned corresponding to the types of soils encountered, with the objective of classifying the soils physical and index properties, moisture contents, unconfined compressive strength, undrained unconsolidated compressive strength, Atterberg limits, percent finer than No. 200 sieve, and total unit weight tests. All laboratory tests will be performed in accordance with appropriate ASTM standards. We will keep the samples for 30 days after the final report is presented. We will discard the samples after that time, unless instructed otherwise.
Laboratory Testing. Upon completion of the subsurface exploration, a testing program will be designed to define the strength and classification characteristics of the subgrade soils. The laboratory testing program is anticipated to include moisture content tests, Atterberg Limits (plasticity) tests, unconfined compression tests, and grain size analyses. However, the actual type and number of laboratory tests will be based on the subsurface conditions encountered in the borings. The laboratory testing will be performed in general accordance with applicable ASTM standards.

Laboratory Testing. In discharging its obligations under this Section 104, Tenant shall perform any tests using a State of California Department of Health Services certified testing laboratory or other similar laboratory of which the Harbor Department shall approve in writing. By signing this Agreement, Tenant agrees to provide City within thirty (30) days of written notice, copies of all of its reports, test results, and data, as requested. Should Tenant fail to provide City with the requested information within thirty (30) days, City seeks the right to obtain such information directly from the laboratory. Tenant hereby irrevocably directs any such laboratory to provide City, upon written request from City, copies of all of its reports, test results, and data gathered. As used in this Subsection 104.9, "Tenant" includes agents, employees, contractors, subcontractors, and/or invitees of the Tenant.
Laboratory Testing. This Service Plan does not include costs incurred from laboratory testing including but not limited to Urine testing, Urine HCG Pregnancy Test, general blood testing (e.g. CBC, CMP, lipids, etc.), PAP smears, HPV testing, stool testing, saliva testing, or other related testing.
Laboratory Testing. The administration will utilize laboratory testing through a certified agency approved by the Board, for the purpose of detecting or confirming violations of this Article. Testing may be undertaken when the Administration has a reasonable belief that an employee may be in violation of this Article. Laboratory testing includes, but is not limited to, urinalysis, breath analysis and blood analysis.
