Laboratory Calibration. Calibration of the prototype flowmeter was performed in a facility located at the TVA Engineering Laboratory, Xxxxxx, Tennessee. The apparatus included standard 5.1-cm, 10.2-cm, and 15.2-cm schedule-40 flush-joint PVC pipes. Before and after any field measurements, calibration checks were performed at a range of flow rates using the same flowmeter system (above-ground electronics, cable, and flowmeter) used in the field. Calibrations were simple and consisted primarily of establishing a constant uniform flow through a vertical PVC pipe and comparing the flowmeter measurements to other flow measurements at the intake and/or the outlet of the PVC pipe (Figure II-3). Laboratory Calibration. Customer can select Traceable, Compliant, or Accredited module-level calibration service for each Covered Product as applicable. Calibration service is provided in-house at a regional NI Service Center or through an NI CCC. Customer may visit xx.xxx/xxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxx_xxxxxxxx.xxx to find a list of NI Service Centers and NI CCCs. Customer is responsible for removing instruments requiring laboratory calibration from the tester and shipping them to the designated NI Service Center or NI CCC. When NI provides this service, Section 5.7 will apply for applicable Product shipping, return, title, and risk of loss stipulations, and Section 5.8 will apply for Product replacements. Refer to Section 4.3, ’Turn-Around Time,’ for that information. NI offers this service only on a per- incident basis.

  • Testing Landlord shall have the right to conduct annual tests of the Premises to determine whether any contamination of the Premises or the Project has occurred as a result of Tenant’s use. Tenant shall be required to pay the cost of such annual test of the Premises; provided, however, that if Tenant conducts its own tests of the Premises using third party contractors and test procedures acceptable to Landlord which tests are certified to Landlord, Landlord shall accept such tests in lieu of the annual tests to be paid for by Tenant. In addition, at any time, and from time to time, prior to the expiration or earlier termination of the Term, Landlord shall have the right to conduct appropriate tests of the Premises and the Project to determine if contamination has occurred as a result of Tenant’s use of the Premises. In connection with such testing, upon the request of Landlord, Tenant shall deliver to Landlord or its consultant such non-proprietary information concerning the use of Hazardous Materials in or about the Premises by Tenant or any Tenant Party. If contamination has occurred for which Tenant is liable under this Section 30, Tenant shall pay all costs to conduct such tests. If no such contamination is found, Landlord shall pay the costs of such tests (which shall not constitute an Operating Expense). Landlord shall provide Tenant with a copy of all third party, non-confidential reports and tests of the Premises made by or on behalf of Landlord during the Term without representation or warranty and subject to a confidentiality agreement. Tenant shall, at its sole cost and expense, promptly and satisfactorily remediate any environmental conditions identified by such testing in accordance with all Environmental Requirements. Landlord’s receipt of or satisfaction with any environmental assessment in no way waives any rights which Landlord may have against Tenant.

  • Test The outer surface of the lamp lenses shall be subjected once or more than once to the action of the sand jet produced as described above. When specifications and drawings are provided or referenced by the County, these are to be considered part of the Scope of Work, and to be specifically documented in the Detailed Scope of Work. For convenience, the County supplied specifications, if any, and the Technical Specifications furnished on the CD.
