Labor Relations Committee. Sec 28.1 The Superintendent with or without a designee such as Director of Personnel, and ▇▇▇▇ president with another ▇▇▇▇ officer may meet once each month as a means of establishing ongoing communications and sharing of mutual concerns and interests.
Labor Relations Committee. There shall be a Labor Relations Committee comprised of three (3) members designated by the Union President and three (3) members designated by the Fire Rescue Administrator to serve on this committee. The committee shall meet upon request of either party quarterly unless mutually agreed to by both parties. The purpose of the meetings shall be to improve communications and discuss problems and objectives of mutual concern.
Labor Relations Committee. A Labor Relations Committee will meet in September, January, and May of each school year.
A. The UNION shall determine the composition of its committee provided, however, that no more than six (6) Employees may attend.
B. The ADMINISTRATION may have no more than six (6) representatives attend.
C. Employees who attend Labor Relations Committee meetings shall be permitted reasonable time off from their duties for attendance.
D. It is understood that the purpose of these meetings is to establish and maintain communication with Employees and to consider recommendations for improving Employee working conditions, increasing efficiency, and solving procedural and contractual disputes.
E. The UNION and ADMINISTRATION shall prepare an Agenda for the meetings which shall be exchanged in advance of the meeting date, and only Agenda items will be discussed unless both parties consent to the discussion of addition issues.
Labor Relations Committee. Labor Relations Committee meetings shall be scheduled not more frequently than once every three months at the request of either party or more frequently as agreed by the parties. Persons who are specialists in the subject matter under discussion may be brought into Labor Relations Committee meetings with notice to the other party. The Association members of the Committee shall consist of two (2) members elected by the membership and the Association President or designee. The Authority members of the committee shall consist of the Chief of Police, representatives from Human Resources, and up to two (2) additional members selected by the Chief Operating Officer, or designee. At least three (3) days in advance of such scheduled meetings, each party will submit to the other party any proposed items for the agenda.
Labor Relations Committee. 7.1 The EMPLOYER and the UNION agree to establish a committee to be known as the "Labor Relations Committee" (LRC), which shall be composed of equal representatives of the EMPLOYER and the UNION. This committee shall meet quarterly (or more often if agreed to by its members) for the purpose of discussing the following:
A. Policies and procedures affecting the working relationship between the EMPLOYER and the UNION.
B. Other subjects which may be mutually agreed upon as the need arises.
Labor Relations Committee. A. A Labor Relations Committee representative of Association designees, Superintendent and at times another Administrator will serve as a forum for discussing Employee issues, contract interpretations and pending decisions. At times, other interested parties will be asked to join the discussion.
Labor Relations Committee. A joint committee of College administration and FLCC-GRADE leadership will meet regularly to discuss issues such as, but not limited to: professional development, the assignment of desks and office space to adjunct faculty, mentors for new adjunct faculty, on-line/directory listing of adjunct faculty, and communications with adjunct faculty.
Labor Relations Committee. 29.1 The Labor Relations Committee shall be composed of the Fire Chief and the Union Local President and/or their designees.
29.2 This committee shall meet at least monthly, or more frequently as agreed upon, to discuss mandatory subjects of bargaining.
29.3 The Fire Chief may hear input from the union on non-mandatory subjects of bargaining, and may consider the union’s position on those matters.
Labor Relations Committee. There is hereby established a Labor Relations Committee which shall consist of not more than four (4) persons from each party, with each party naming its own representatives to the Committee. The Committee shall meet at least quarterly upon the call of either party and at such other times as the parties may mutually agree. Persons representing either party who are specialists in a subject matter under discussion may be brought into Committee meetings by agreement of the parties.
Labor Relations Committee. (A) The parties agree to establish a Joint Labor Management Relations Committee to discuss in good faith on going labor-management issues and to provide input to the COUNTY on matters of mutual interest that would serve constructive purposes including, but not limited to, increased productivity, employee morale, mutual problem-solving and further the goal of general UNION- management cooperation.
(B) The Committee shall consist of an equal number of participants, not to exceed fourthree (43) on each side. Each side shall select its own representatives, provided, however, that one of the UNION’s representatives shall be the UNION’s staff representative and one of management’s representatives shall be the COUNTY’s Labor and Employee Relations Manager Program Supervisoror his/her designee.
(C) The Committee shall normally meet at least every other month, or less by mutual agreement. Either party may request a meeting of the Committee to be held at a mutually convenient time and place and such meeting shall, if at all practicable, be scheduled within fourteen (14) days. Topics for discussion shall be exchanged prior to any meeting and either party may refuse to discuss any matter. The Committee shall have no authority to amend the terms of this Agreement.
(D) Topics shall include organizational effectiveness, quality improvement, improving the quality of work life in the work unit, including case loads, and problem solving.
