Labor Dispute Details. Officers assigned to work details involving a labor dispute shall be paid the premium detail rate. A minimum of two Officers shall be assigned to labor dispute details to maintain officer safety. If additional Officers are necessary, said determination shall be made by the Chief of Police, the Deputy Chief or the Lieutenant after notice by the Officer in Charge of the detail or the Sergeant/Shift Commander on the shift. If there is any question or dispute by the officer or the company, department or persons who requested the detail on whether such rate is to be paid, it shall be determined by the Chief of Police or his designee under his rights described under Article X B 8.
