Knowledge Test Requirement. (a) As per 14 CFR § 61.103(e), the FAA shall require all original applicants to present a valid, unexpired knowledge test report with a minimum passing grade of 70% at the time of application as indicated in Appendix 1 to Section C of the TIP-L. A knowledge test report is valid for 24 calendar- months. The knowledge test will only be available in the English language.
