Key Performance Measures. The Key Performance Measures agreed for the service between April 2012 and March 2015 are as follows: • Maintenance of a pool of at least 60 volunteers to act as an Appropriate Adult for to up to 1200 call outs. • Completion of PACE training by all volunteers accepted as Appropriate Adults to National Standards (NAAN) (All volunteers must complete this training to enable them to work as Appropriate Adults.) • Completion of 2 „shadowing‟ sessions for volunteers accepted as Appropriate Adults. • Steering Group oversight, meeting quarterly to receive performance reports. Volunteer Allowances Volunteers will receive reasonable out of pocket expenses to cover transport and subsistence. These costs will be met as incurred by the Purchaser who will settle these allowances directly with the volunteers concerned. Serious Offences The Provider will notify the SYSS within 24 hours of attending an interview where the young person is charged with any of the offences that fall within the Youth Justice Board‟s definition of a serious incident in relation to public protection. Offences under this definition comprise the following – • murder, attempted murder or manslaughter • rape • torture • kidnapping • false imprisonment • firearms offences The Provider will ensure that written documentation using an agreed template outlining the offence and circumstances is received by the Duty YOS Manager. Monitoring Arrangements for all Services under this Specification SAAVS will compile activity data relating to the objectives, targets and key performance measures outlined in this Service Specification including the maintenance of financial records of the costs accruing for the work carried out under this Specification in comparison with the agreed budget estimates for the Service.   • Ongoing Performance Measures The Department intends to use performance-reporting tools in order to measure the performance of Contractor(s). These tools will include the Contractor Performance Survey (Exhibit H), to be completed by Customers on a quarterly basis.
