Common use of Jury and Witness Duty Clause in Contracts

Jury and Witness Duty. If a nurse is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's inquest or any proceedings under the Regulated Health Professions Act, where the proceedings are not about the conduct of the Nurse in connection with a case arising from the nurse's duties at the Home, the nurse shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance provided that the nurse:

If a nurse is required to serve on a jury panel or as a juror in any court of law, law or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a partypart, or as a witness at a hearing of the College of Nurses of Ontario, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's inquest or any proceedings under the Regulated Health Professions Act, where the proceedings are not about the conduct of the Nurse Coroner’s Inquest in connection with a case arising from the nurse's ’s duties at the HomeHealth Unit, the nurse shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance provided that the nurse:

If a A nurse is required to serve as a juror in any court of lawon jury duty, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding case in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend as a court of law witness at an inquest, or coroner's inquest or any proceedings under the Regulated Health Professions Act, where the proceedings are not about the conduct of the Nurse as a witness in connection with a case arising from out of their employment, or as a witness at a hearing of the nurse's duties at the HomeCollege of Nurses of Ontario, the nurse shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance attendance, provided that the nurse:

If a A nurse is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness on jury duty in a court proceeding case in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend as a court of law witness at an inquest, or coroner's inquest or any proceedings under the Regulated Health Professions Act, where the proceedings are not about the conduct of the Nurse as a witness in connection with a case arising from out of her employment, or as a witness at a Hearing of the nurse's duties at the HomeCollege of Nurses of Ontario, the nurse shall not lose regular pay pay, excluding any premium payments, because of such attendance and shall not work for the duration of the active jury and/or witness duty, provided that the nurse:
