Joint Preparation The preparation of this Agreement has been a joint effort of the parties and the resulting documents shall not, solely as a matter of judicial construction, be construed more severely against one of the parties than the other.
Professional Preparation and Scholarship The certificated classroom teacher exhibits, in his/her performance, evidence of having a theoretical background and knowledge of the principles and methods of teaching, and a commitment to education as a profession.
Surgery Services and Mastectomy Related Treatment This plan provides benefits for mastectomy surgery and mastectomy-related services in accordance with the Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act of 1998 and Rhode Island General Law 27-20-29 et seq. For the member receiving mastectomy-related benefits, coverage will be provided in a manner determined in consultation with the attending physician, physician assistant, or an advance practice registered nurse and the patient, for: • all stages of reconstruction of the breast on which the mastectomy was performed; • surgery and reconstruction of the other breast to produce a symmetrical appearance; • prostheses; and • treatment of physical complications at all stages of the mastectomy, including lymphedema. Proposal Preparation The contractor shall assume all costs associated with preparation of proposals for task order awards under the proposal process as an indirect charge (B&P costs). The Government will not reimburse awardees for proposals as a direct charge.
STUDENTS AND BUSINESS APPRENTICES A student or business apprentice who is present in a Contracting State solely for the purpose of his education or training and who is, or immediately before being so present was, a resident of the other Contracting State, shall be exempt from tax in the first-mentioned State on payments received from outside that first-mentioned State for the purposes of his maintenance, education or training.

Mastectomy Services Inpatient This plan provides coverage for a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours in a hospital following a mastectomy and a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours in a hospital following an axillary node dissection. Any decision to shorten these minimum coverages shall be made by the attending physician in consultation with and upon agreement with you. If you participate in an early discharge, defined as inpatient care following a mastectomy that is less than forty-eight (48) hours and inpatient care following an axillary node dissection that is less than twenty-four (24) hours, coverage shall include a minimum of one (1) home visit conducted by a physician or registered nurse.
Promotional Examinations All promotional examinations shall be competitive and shall be conducted in the same manner as open examinations except that admission to a promotional examination shall be restricted to persons in the employ of the County who have served at least six months following regular appointment to the classified service and who meet the published requirements for the examination. The Commission shall determine whether an examination shall be held on a promotional or open basis. 1492 Disposition of Papers and Records Prescribed application forms of persons who fail to appear for the written test and examination records of candidates who fail to qualify in the written test shall be destroyed at any time after thirty days from the date of promulgation of the eligible list. Examination records of candidates who qualify in an examination shall be retained during the life of the eligible list or for 15 months, whichever is longer, and the examination records of each appointee shall be filed in his/her permanent personnel folder. Following the period during which competitors may inspect their examination papers, and after their ratings in each part of the examination have been transferred to examination records, examination materials such as question booklets, answer sheets and work papers may be destroyed, but general qualification appraisal sheets and applications shall be retained at least 15 months from the date of the promulgation of the eligible list.
