Journeyworker. Provided that if a Market Recovery Agreement is reached between AGC of Indiana, Inc. and any other craft performing work on said project then the percentage rate paid to the Laborers covered by this memorandum shall be not less than that paid to any other craft. The Union may cancel this Agreement as to a particular contractor if in its sole judgment the Union believes the said contractor has violated or abused this Agreement. Provided further, should difference of opinion arise pertaining to work covered by this Memorandum Agreement, the difference of opinion shall be settled in accordance with Article XXV “Grievance Procedure” of the Master Agreement. All other terms and conditions of the Master Agreement shall apply. This Agreement shall not apply to projects already in progress nor to projects having been bid prior to the signing of same. It is agreed this Agreement shall be subject to review on or before March 1 of each year by a Committee appointed by the Laborers’ International Union of North America, State of Indiana District Council for and on behalf of its affiliated Local Unions #000, #000, #000, #000, #0000 and AGC of Indiana, Inc. for the purpose of determining the value and effectiveness of said Agreement. If it is determined by either Party this Agreement has not been effective in making the signatory contractors more competitive in this Market Place and produced more employment for the members of Laborers’ International Union of North America, then this Agreement may be revised for the purpose of making it more effective or it may be cancelled March 1 of each year. If proven effective, then these conditions shall be extended from year to year subject to Committee review and recommendation on or before March 1 of each succeeding year. It is also suggested this Committee meet each four (4) months of this Agreement for discussion and evaluation.

  • Shiftworkers 35.1 Shiftworker for the purposes of this clause is defined as an Employee who performs Shiftwork and who starts or finishes a shift outside of the ordinary hours set out at clause 34.2 above.

  • Journeyman GROUP I: All applicants for employment who have three and one-half (3½) or more years of experience in the trade, are residents of the geographical area constituting the normal construction labor market, have passed a Journeyman's examination given by a duly constituted Outside Local Union of the I.B.E.W., and who have been employed for a period of at least one (1) year in the last three and one-half (3½) years in the geographical area covered by the collective bargaining agreement.

  • Shift Workers All shift workers (i.e. workers whose shift commences at or after the end of the ordinary day work hours) presenting for work when the temperature is at or over 35°C will remain on site in air conditioned amenities for a minimum two hours, holding themselves available to commence work should the temperature fall below 35°C.

  • Paraeducators A Paraeducator who has successfully completed a probationary period of ninety (90) calendar days. The term Paraeducators shall include all Paraeducators as defined in Appendix B. Paraeducators will work a 186-day contract, 7½ hours per day and receive four (4) paid holidays unless otherwise specified.

  • School Nurses The salary of a nurse with a graduate nursing degree will be 90% of the XX Xxxx of Schedule A. The salary of a nurse with a BS Nursing Degree will be the same as the XX Xxxx of Schedule A.

  • Cultural Leave Where such leave is approved by the employer, teachers participating in recognised cultural activities within New Zealand or outside New Zealand are entitled to leave with pay on the same conditions as for sports leave.

  • Orientation The Employer shall provide planned and paid Orientation Programs of such content and duration as it deems appropriate taking into consideration the needs of the Employer and the Nurses involved. Such Nurses will not be considered part of core staffing during their Orientation Program nor will they be provided with primary assignments.

  • Helpers Eighty-eight cents ($.88) per hour, at which time the minimum wage for these employees shall be one thousand two hundred thirteen dollars and sixty cents ($1,213.60) per forty (40) hour week and thirty dollars and thirty-four cents ($30.34) per hour.

  • Interns Any employee with three (3) or more year’s satisfactory experience shall have the right to request the assignment as supervising employee for an intern, or any other preservice student and the right to recommend the non-assignment of interns. At least ten (10) days prior to the date an intern is scheduled to report to the school center, the employee shall be notified when the intern is expected to report. Employees who have interns shall be given available background information, objectives, program requirements, other expectations, and the projected schedule for the intern.
