Joint Union/Management Meetings. The Employer and the Union agree to hold Joint Union/Management meetings in the store at least once (1X) per quarter, initially with the Union Representative present. Joint Union/Management Meetings. The parties agree to hold, at a minimum, monthly joint union-management meetings. The purpose of such meetings shall be to discuss and settle, if possible, matters of mutual concern. In matters which are personal or particularly sensitive, strict confidentiality shall be maintained. Such discussions shall not include grievances and changes to the Collective Agreement. The President of the local and one other employee representing the Union will be granted leave with pay to attend the joint union-management meetings.

Joint Union/Management Meetings. 8.01 Joint Union Management Meetings (JUMM) will be arranged between the Union Committee and the Employer on a regular basis but not less than every three (3) months. An agenda of items to be discussed at a Joint Union Management Meeting will be exchanged on the day preceding the meeting. Either the Employer or the Union can request a Joint Union Management Meeting in writing on at least seven (7) days notice. It is specifically understood that grievances shall not be the proper subject matter to be discussed at such a meeting. A National Union Representative and/or Local Union Representative may be present at a Joint Union Management Meeting. Union Representatives attending a Joint Union Management Meeting will be paid at their regular hourly rate for time spent at such meetings.

  • Union/Management Meetings ‌ The Union Committee and the Senior Union Official of the Union, or her/his representative, shall, as occasion warrants, meet with the Committee on Labour Relations for the purpose of discussing and negotiating a speedy settlement of any grievance or dispute arising between the Employer and the employee concerned, including possible re-negotiations relative to this Agreement and the Schedules which are a part hereof. However, except for renegotiations of Agreements, these matters shall be introduced to such meetings only after the established grievance procedure has been followed. Grievances of a general nature may be initiated by a member of the Union Committee in step two of the grievance procedure outlined in Article 9.04.

  • Joint Union/Management Committee It shall be appropriate for either the Union or the University to request that a Joint Union/Management committee be convened, with Environmental Health and Safety as a participating member, to discuss health and safety concerns and to explore options for addressing those concerns through appropriate training or other approaches.

Neither party can unreasonably deny an initiative to utilize video or teleconferencing services.

  • Joint Meetings 10.1(a) Should either party desire to discuss with the other any matter affecting generally the relationship of the parties, a meeting of Union and management representatives shall be arranged upon request of either party. Such meeting shall take place at a time mutually convenient to both parties. Any use of Company time for attendance at such meetings shall be arranged in advance by mutual agreement.
