Joint Production. ‌ A "Joint Production" is two (2), three (3) or four (4) theatres in more than one (1) location presenting the same production with the same cast and using the same set in their respective points of origin, except that the third and fourth Point of Origin locations shall be considered to be on tour for purposes of fees (Clauses 16:14, 49:03(B)(i), and 49:03(B)(ii) shall apply).

Joint Production. For the purposes of this Agreement, a “Joint Production” is one jointly produced by the Theatre and one or more partners which is intended to be presented at one or more venues. In cases where one or more of the partners are not PACT members, the Theatre acts as the originating producer by engaging the Designer under the terms and conditions of this Agreement. All performance venues, performance dates or tentative dates and producers must be made known to the Designer and specified in writing as part of the Design Engagement Contract. All terms of compensation for the entire run of the Joint Production shall be set forth in the Design Engagement Contract shall be compensated as follows: The Designer shall negotiate a fee for the first venue, which shall be no less than the minimum for the highest Category Theatre participating in the Joint Production. The designer shall also receive royalties for use of their design at the second and subsequent venues, which royalties will be no less than 1% of the Original Fee per paid performance. If, after the first public performance, any additional work is required at the first venue or to accommodate any subsequent venue, the Designer shall be offered the opportunity to perform such work and shall be paid a daily fee as negotiated. The Designer and the Co-Producers may, at the signing of the Design Engagement Contract, approve the engagement of a substitute for the Designer in subsequent venues for the specified dates. If dates change, any work or revision will be subject to Designer or substitute availability. In a Joint Production, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the originating PACT Theatre is responsible for providing the Designer(s) with production information for all venues. In a Joint Production, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the originating PACT Theatre is responsible for the timely flow of all production information to all other producers and to the Designer during all phases of the project and the Theatre’s Designated Representative shall be the Designer’s primary contact for all subsequent venues, unless otherwise agreed.

In the event that a PACT Theatre wishes to undertake a Joint Production with a Theatre not a member of PACT, or a Xxxxxx 0 Theatre which is a member of PACT, the terms and conditions shall be negotiated with Equity and PACT in advance of such Joint Productions.

Joint Production. The provisions of Clause shall apply if the following condition is met. The Theatre must hold open auditions for the season or the Joint Production for Equity members in each of the locations to be governed by this Clause. Where it can be demonstrated, in agreement with Equity, that the available membership in a location is insufficient to warrant such auditions, auditions in the nearest location where the available membership is sufficient may be substituted.
Joint Production. However, it is that circumstances may exist where a production may be designated a Joint Production after contracts with Artists have been signed with one Theatre. In such circumstances, the two Theatres present to Equity a proposal for presentation of the production in the second location. Should Equity agree to the proposal, the Artists shall be advised of this either in writing or after beginning rehearsals at a Company meeting and shall be given full information about the Joint Production, including performance dates and name of second Theatre. When a production is subsequently designated a Joint Production, all involved Artists shall be offered the option of continuing with the production the second point of origin. Engagement Contracts with Artists who agree to appear in the production in the second point of origin shall be including those Artists who have already negotiated a fee in excess of the applicable minimum Joint Production fee. In no case, may the Artist’s contractual fee for the Joint Production be less than the fee originally negotiated for the initial production at the first Theatre. Where a production is designated a Joint Production in accordance with Clause above, then the basis for negotiation shall be the appropriate minimum fee stipulated in Clause below, applied on a retroactive basis to the beginning of the Artist’s Engagement Contract. Engagement Contracts shall be executed in accordance with Clause Should the provisions of this Clause apply there may be no hiatus (see Clause Should the Artist elect not to continue with the production in the second point of origin:
