Common use of JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE Clause in Contracts

JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. (a) A Joint Labour-Management Committee shall be established comprised of not more than four (4) representatives appointed by the Employer and not more than four (4) representatives to be appointed by the Union. The purpose of the Committee will be to meet and discuss miscellaneous matters related to employment as requested by either party. Employees shall suffer no loss of pay for attending Committee meetings. Meetings shall occur on a monthly basis unless otherwise agreed to by the parties. Minutes of each meeting shall be distributed to each committee member as soon as possible following each meeting.

Employees shall suffer no loss of pay for attending Committee meetings. Meetings shall occur on a monthly bi‐monthly basis unless otherwise agreed to by the parties. Minutes of each meeting bi‐meeting shall be distributed to each committee member as soon as possible following each meeting.
