JOINT CONFERENCES. 31.1 The Employer and CRONA recognize their mutual interest and concerns regarding numerous matters and their effects on Nurses, e.g., health and safety, work environment, human resources matters, parking and security and personnel policies and procedures of specific application to Nurses and of general application to the Employer’s employees, including Nurses. The Employer desires to have CRONA share with the Employer their suggestions and recommendations regarding such matters. Therefore the Employer and CRONA agree that at the request of either the Employer or CRONA, joint conferences with CRONA, Stanford Hospital and Clinics and Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx Children’s Hospital shall be held monthly between appropriate Employer representatives and CRONA officers for the purpose of discussing such matters. A representative from Nursing Administration from each Hospital shall attend the meetings. It is understood that no matters discussed or action taken as a result of such conference shall, in any way, change or alter any of the provisions of this Agreement or the rights or obligations of either party under the terms of this Agreement. The parties also may mutually agree to schedule special conferences.

JOINT CONFERENCES. 1. Joint conferences between Union and Company representatives shall be held upon request of either party, providing reasonable advance notice with a statement of the subjects proposed for discussion, shall be given to the other party. Reasonable advance notice shall ordinarily be interpreted as a period of not less than one (1) week nor more than two (2) weeks, the exact period in each case to be determined by mutual agreement. Joint meetings to discuss grievances or emergency matters shall be held with a minimum of delay. The Executive Board, the President of the Union or their duly authorized representatives may meet with officials of the Company as occasion demands.

  • Parent Conferences A. 1. Elementary and exceptional education schools shall be dismissed early a minimum of four (4) half days during the school year to grant teachers time for parent-teacher conferences.

  • Pre-Job Conferences a) The Employer will notify the Union that a project has been awarded to the Employer following the award. Prior to the start of each project, a pre-job conference will be held to determine all site-specific issues as outlined in this Agreement. This conference may be conducted via telephone, through a scheduled meeting or by some other practical means as agreed to by the parties.

  • Professional Conferences Professional conferences are those conferences sponsored by educational organizations, institutions of higher learning, and government and industry concerning teaching, learning and educational research. When a full-time or part-time faculty member’s attendance at a professional conference conflicts with his/her regular assignment, the faculty member must submit a request for attendance to the appropriate Xxxx, Director, or Supervisor. If granted, the attendance at the conference will be considered leave with pay, and a follow-up report of the conference shall be submitted to the appropriate Supervisor.

  • JOINT CONFERENCE BOARD (a) A Joint Conference Board shall be formed which will be composed of the Board of Directors of the Boilermaker Contractors' Association of British Columbia, and Members of Local Lodge 359 as appointed by the Business Manager. The Joint Conference Board shall meet at least once during each calendar year or more periodically upon request.

  • Labor Management Conferences The Union and the Employer mutually agree that in the interest of efficient management and harmonious employee relations, meetings shall be held between Union and Employer representatives when appropriate. Unit member shall be available at mutually arranged times during the regular school day to confer with parents regarding learning difficulties, student progress and/or behavioral problems a student may be experiencing. Unit members are encouraged to arrange a meeting or conference with parents before or after the regular school day if both time and place are mutually agreeable.

  • PRE-JOB CONFERENCE Section 1. Upon written request by either Party, a pre-job conference will be held prior to the time the Employees of such Employer begin work on the project.

  • Attendance at Conferences and Conventions (a) The parties to this Agreement recognize that attendance or participation at conferences, conventions, symposia, workshops and other gatherings of a similar nature contributes to the maintenance of high professional standards.

  • Conferences At the request of the State or the Engineer, conferences shall be provided at the Engineer's office, the office of the State, or at other locations designated by the State. These conferences shall also include evaluation of the Engineer's services and work when requested by the State.
