JOB TARGETING. On all jobs where an Employer is bidding against non union or alternate union contractors, the Union agrees to the following amendments to the collective agreement, subject to mutual agreement by the related parties, and such agreement will not be unreasonably withheld.

JOB TARGETING. The terms and conditions of this Agreement may be modified by the duly elected Business Manager/Secretary Treasurer of the I.U.P.A.T. District Council #4 for the purpose of organizing, holding a job Union, maintaining or entering a particular market segment, and for entering into Maintenance Agreements.
JOB TARGETING. On projects where an Employer bound to this Agreement is facing non-union competition, the Employer may request that the project be targeted. The Union and the CLRA's Trade Classification shall form a joint Committee to receive such requests, and the Committee shall be empowered to alter wage rates, benefits, hours of work, shift premiums, etc. as it sees fit in order to make unionized contractors competitive on such projects. Employers must request that a job or project be targeted in a timely manner, but in any event, targeted rates, terms and conditions must be set and made available to all unionized contractors no later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to tender closing. The Joint Committee may establish and publish such procedures of operation as it deems necessary to ensure the fair and reasonable operation of job targeting, and upon publication, such rules and procedures shall be attached to and shall form part of this Collective Agreement. JOB TARGETING. The Business Manager shall have authority to target a job for the purpose of protecting the jurisdiction of the Union and work opportunity of the Employees it represents. But while engaging in such targeting activities, the Union agrees that it will not discriminate against any contractor.
JOB TARGETING. A Targeted Job is any project within the Territory of Local Union 252 defined above where the COUNCIL feels a competitive disadvantage exists which hinders an EMPLOYER, in good standing, from successfully competing on a project. Each EMPLOYER intending to seek targeting shall submit an electronic job targeting form through the job targeting website, during the bid process. Only written applications will be considered as formal requests for relief. The UNION shall have the right to deny the targeting within three (3) business days. Special circumstances will be considered. No request shall be unreasonably denied. Job Targeting may include the following: • Pinpointing. • Liberal use of apprentices. • Flexible work rules. • Glassworkers. • Lehigh Valley rates, applied for in the same manner as Pinpointing. Where in the opinion of the UNION it becomes necessary to grant flexible conditions on particular jobs, sometimes known as pinpointing, and specialty agreements or addendum to this contract are executed to ensure work will be maintained for EMPLOYEES covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement, no EMPLOYER shall assert any claims including any claims under Article 20 - Grievances and Arbitration under the MASTER AGREEMENT. This clause shall not be used to advantage non-union employers, non-signatory employers, non-member employers who execute the Association Agreement for purpose of performing a particular job.

The stated purposes of Targeting are to increase the job security and employment opportunities of Union members and to permit Employers to compete more effectively with nonunion contracts by reducing labor costs.   • STATEWIDE ACHIEVEMENT TESTING When CONTRACTOR is an NPS, per implementation of Senate Bill 484, CONTRACTOR shall administer all Statewide assessments within the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (“CAASP”), Desired Results Developmental Profile (“DRDP”), California Alternative Assessment (“CAA”), achievement and abilities tests (using LEA-authorized assessment instruments), the Fitness Gram with the exception of the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (“ELPAC”) to be completed by the LEA, and as appropriate to the student, and mandated by XXX xxxxxxxx to LEA and state and federal guidelines. CONTRACTOR is subject to the alternative accountability system developed pursuant to Education Code section 52052, in the same manner as public schools. Each LEA student placed with CONTRACTOR by the LEA shall be tested by qualified staff of CONTRACTOR in accordance with that accountability program. XXX shall provide test administration training to CONTRACTOR’S qualified staff. CONTRACTOR shall attend LEA test training and comply with completion of all coding requirements as required by XXX.

  • Critical Milestones (a) Subject to the provisions of Section 3.1(c), commencing on the Effective Date, Seller shall develop the Facility in order to achieve the following milestones (“Critical Milestones”) on or before the date set forth in this Section 3.1(a):

  • Hepatitis B Vaccine Where the Hospital identifies high risk areas where employees are exposed to Hepatitis B, the Hospital will provide, at no cost to the employees, a Hepatitis B vaccine.
