Issues Committee. A committee, called the Issues Committee (Committee), made up of representatives of the NZQA, the Teaching Council, the Ministry of Education | Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga, the New Zealand School Trustees Association (NZSTA), the PPTA Te Wehengarua, and the NZEI Te Riu Roa will meet from time to time, upon request of any of the named organisations, to consider and resolve any outstanding or new issues about teachers’ qualifications in relation to salary. These may be either individual cases or more general qualification or teaching qualification issues. • In the first instance the Teaching Council or the NZQA respectively make decisions about teacher education requirements and qualifications. • Where a matter remains unresolved, the Committee will be convened to seek to resolve the matter. • Where the Committee is unable to resolve the issue, the Secretary for Education may exercise discretion to determine an appropriate placement or progression on the salary scale.

These may be either individual cases or more general qualification or teaching qualification issues.
Issues Committee. The City agrees to establish an Issues Committee which includes the City Manager, management and unit employees. The committee shall meet at mutually agreeable times, for a reasonable amount of time, to discuss issues pertaining to the Unit. Up to six (6) unit members may attend the committee meetings as paid release time.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • Conference Committee The Conference Committee shall meet at least quarterly. It shall consist of the three elected representatives of the nurses plus one clinical unit representative appointed by the nurse bargaining unit, and an Association staff member, and five representatives of the Employer to include the Chief Nursing Executive and/or designee and one member of the Employer’s contract negotiating team. The purpose of the Conference Committee is to act in an advisory capacity to xxxxxx problem solving through communications between the Employer and nurses in the bargaining unit and deal with matters of nursing practice and general concern to the parties. Major organizational or policy changes in the nursing department that have a direct bearing on nursing practice or working conditions shall be an appropriate subject for discussion by the Conference Committee. Attendance at Conference Committee will be considered work time and will be paid at the regular rate of pay. A general group “grievance” as defined in this Agreement coming before the Conference Committee which is not resolved by the parties may be submitted in accordance with Article 18 at Step Two of the Grievance Procedure.

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 18.01 A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.

  • Union Committee ‌ The Union shall appoint and maintain a Committee comprising persons who are employees of the Employer, and/or the Senior Union Official, or her/his representative, which shall be known as the Union Committee. The Union at all times shall keep the Employer informed of the individual membership of the Committee.
