Issued Equipment. The City shall issue to all peace officers hired after July 1, 2007 the following: one sidearm, three ammunition magazines, duty ammunition, a holster, chemical agents, a basic uniform issue of four (4) summer shirts, four (4) winter shirts, four (4) pairs of pants, one (1) winter jacket, (1) raincoat, and lockers. Peace officers will be issued a ballistic vest upon the peace officer’s request. Vests will be replaced every five (5) years or as recommended by the manufacturer.

Issued Equipment. 28.1 The County agrees to furnish all required equipment set forth under the Corrections Department's Policy and Procedure. A list of such items may be kept current in the Department Policy and Procedure. The Chief of Corrections may make changes to the Policy and Procedure with the Labor Management Relations Committee (LMRC) input.

Issued Equipment. If the department issued and paid for equipment used by the employee during the probationary period, which includes items purchased in full with allocated uniform expense monies, and the employee leaves the Department during this period, the City of Cedarburg may use the wages due to the trainee to cover its liquidated damages. Should any reusable items have been in use for an extended period of time, depreciable items will be valued at a percentage of the original cost determined by a representative of the firm that the item was purchased from. Should any items be new and not used and are capable of being returned, the employee shall not be held responsible for reimbursement for those articles. Reusable items should be leather goods, flashlight, briefcase, hats, jackets, raincoat, shirts, pants, tie, collar brass, off duty holster, off duty ammunition, and any other items that may be necessary and issued by the Cedarburg Police Department.
