Issue Resolution. It is in the mutual interest of the Company and the Union to have potential grievances settled prior to the need for a formal grievance. Accordingly, any matter bordering upon a grievance (excluding discipline) must first be addressed through the following informal Issue Resolution process before a formal grievance may be filed.
