Iran Contracting Act of 2010. (Public Contract Code sections 2200 et seq.) (Applicable for all Contracts of one million dollars ($1,000,000) or more) In accordance with Public Contract Code section 2204(a), the Contractor certifies that at the time the Contract is signed, the Contractor signing the Contract is not identified on a list created pursuant to subdivision (b) of Public Contract Code section 2203 (xxxx://xxx.xxx.xx.xxx/pd/Resources/PDLegislation.aspx) as a person (as defined in Public Contract Code section 2202(e)) engaging in investment activities in Iran described in subdivision (a) of Public Contract Code section 2202.5, or as a person described in subdivision (b) of Public Contract Code section 2202.5, as applicable. Contractors are cautioned that making a false certification may subject the Contractor to civil penalties, termination of existing contract, and ineligibility to bid on a contract for a period of three (3) years in accordance with Public Contract Code section 2205.

Iran Contracting Act of 2010. The Iran Contracting Act of 2010 (PCC sections 2200 – 2208, the “Act”) requires that no one shall submit a proposal for a Contract, or enter into or renew a contract, with a public entity for goods or services valued at $1,000,000 or more if that person (i.e., bidder or contractor) engages in investment activities of $20,000,000 or more as described in PCC section 2202.5 . Section 2204 of the Act requires bidders to certify at the time the proposal is submitted or the contract is renewed, that the person is not identified on a list created pursuant to subdivision (b) of PCC section 2203 as a person engaging in investment activities in Iran described in subdivision (a) of PCC section 2202.5, or as a person described in subdivision (b) of PCC section 2202.5, as applicable.

Iran Contracting Act of 2010. In accordance with Public Contract Code Section 2200 et seq., the District requires that any person that submits a Proposal with the District of one million dollars ($1,000,000) or more, certify at the time the Proposal is submitted that the person is not identified on a list created pursuant to subdivision (b) of Public Contract Code Section 2203 as a person engaging in investment activities in Iran described in subdivision (a) of Public Contract Code Section 2202.5, or as a person described in subdivision (b) of Public Contract Code Section 2202.5, as applicable. The form of such Iran Contracting Certificate is included with the Proposal Forms and must be signed and dated under penalty of perjury.
Iran Contracting Act of 2010. The California Legislature adopted the Iran Contracting Act of 2010 to respond to policies of Iran in a uniform fashion (PCC § 2201 (q)). The Iran Contracting Act prohibits proposers engaged in investment activities in Iran from submitting proposals for, or entering into or renewing contracts with public entities for goods and services of one million ($1,000,000) or more (PCC § 2203(a)). In accordance with California Public Contract Code Sections 2200-2208, all entities submitting proposals for, entering into or renewing contracts with the Department for goods and services estimated at $1,000,000 or more are required to complete, sign and submit the Iran Contracting Act of 2010 Compliance Affidavit.
