Investigation Meeting. In non-USW/USW investigations, one representative of the Union will be given an opportunity to meet with the investigator at the beginning of an investigation into allegations by and/or against a member of the USW bargaining unit in order for the investigator to advise the Union of the process they intend to follow, and in order for the Union to provide input into the process, including who the Union believes should be interviewed. Unless there is a reasonable explanation for not doing so, the investigator will interview witnesses identified by the Union as likely to be able to provide material evidence. The University reserves the right to have a management representative present at this meeting. The investigator will have final authority to determine the process they will follow in the investigation and will inform the parties accordingly.

Investigation Meeting. When the Employer is considering discipline of an employee and instructs the employee to attend an investigatory meeting with their Manager and a representative of Human Resources; or a meeting is called for the express purpose of imposing discipline; the Employer agrees to provide the employee and the Union with at least three (3) working days advance written notice to provide the employee an opportunity to arrange Union Representation. The Employer will inform the employee and the Union of the day, time, location, purpose and the general subject matter of the meeting. An employee shall have the right to have Union Representation present at any meeting between a representative of the Employer and the employee, and the Employer will encourage the employee to exercise their right to be accompanied by a Union Representative.
Investigation Meeting. An employee who is being investigated for potential discipline shall be advised of her right to be accompanied by a Union Xxxxxxx. The Xxxxxxx in this meeting is meant to act as a witness and note taker on behalf of the employee being investigated. This procedure will be used only when the employee is given notice, in advance, of the meeting or when it is reasonably possible to find an available Xxxxxxx.

  • Orientation Meeting Within thirty (30) calendar days from execution of the Contract, Vendor and Order Fulfillers will be required to attend an orientation meeting to discuss the content and procedures of the Contract to include reporting requirements. DIR, at its discretion, may waive the orientation requirement for Vendors who have previously held DIR contracts. The meeting will be held in the Austin, Texas area at a date and time mutually acceptable to DIR and the Vendor or by teleconference, at DIR’s discretion. DIR shall bear no cost for the time and travel of the Vendor or Order Fulfillers for attendance at the meeting.

  • Consultation Meetings (A) Upon request by the Union, the Secretary of the Department of Management Services or designee or the Agency Head or designee shall make a good faith effort to meet and consult on a quarterly basis.   • Union Meetings The Employer recognizes the Union's interest in keeping its members informed and aware of its activities through regular union meetings. The Employer may approve the use of the agency facilities to hold union meetings. Union meetings, including general and/or committee(s) meetings, held on employer premises will not interfere with the operation of the Employer.

  • Association Meetings The Association shall have the right to use school facilities for meetings without cost after the regular students’ school day.

  • Disciplinary Meeting Supervisors shall give employees a forty-eight (48) hour notice, whenever possible, of planned disciplinary meetings. If the Xxxxxxx and the employee agree, the disciplin- ary meeting can be held less than forty-eight (48) hours after notification, but the Xxxxxxx or employee cannot refuse to hold an immediate meeting if circumstances require it. Supervisors shall give employees the opportunity to have a Union Xxxxxxx present for an oral warning, a written warning, a notice of suspension, or a notice of discharge. Employees will be given an opportunity to hear the evidence and respond to the evidence supporting suspension or discharge while still in pay status. Non- supervisory co-workers, other than a Union Xxxxxxx of the employee's choice, shall not be present in another employee's disciplinary meeting. In cases of immediate suspension or discharge, the supervisor will meet with the Xxxxxxx and employee prior to the employee being required to leave the facility. However, neither the refusal of the Union Xxxxxxx to participate nor their unavailability shall abridge the Employer's right to take disciplinary action.

  • Review Meeting i. Either the BCTF or BCPSEA may request in writing a meeting to review the issues in a provincial matters grievance that has been referred to arbitration.
