Internal Posting. An Elected Official/Department Director may post notice of job vacancy internal to the Courthouse for County employees only, instead of, or prior to, outside posting to the general public. Such notice shall be posted a minimum of five (5) working days before filling the job vacancy.

Internal Posting. When all necessary parties agree, a job posting may be limited to internal applicants. The University reserves the right to require that postings be internal only. All qualified applicants will receive an interview. The search committee must present strong justification for not selecting a qualified applicant. Following interviews, the more senior staff member will receive the assignment when selecting between equivalent applicants.
