Interest on U.S. Government securities held in any Pledge Account will be automatically credited by Bank in immediately available funds to an account designated in writing by Customer the date that such funds become due and payable. Amounts due on U.S. Government securities which mature or are redeemed will be credited to the Pledge Account or an account designated by Customer in immediately available funds on the date funds are received by Bank.

Interest on U.S. Prime Rate Loans
Interest on U.S. Base Rate Loans The Borrower shall pay interest in U.S. Dollars to the Agent on behalf of each Lender on each U.S. Base Rate Loan made by each Lender at a rate per three hundred sixty-five (365) day period equal to the U.S. Base Rate plus the applicable Margin. A change in the U.S. Base Rate or the Margin will, in accordance with Section 5.9, simultaneously cause a corresponding change in the rate at which interest is payable for a U.S. Base Rate Loan. Such interest is payable monthly in arrears on the first Business Day following each Interest Date for the period commencing on and including the day after the immediately prior Interest Date up to and including the Interest Date and shall be calculated on a daily basis and on the basis of the actual number of days elapsed in a year of three hundred sixty-five (365) days or three hundred sixty-six (366) days, as applicable. The annual rates of interest to which the rates determined in accordance with the foregoing provisions of this Section 5.1 are equivalent, are the rates so determined multiplied by the actual number of days in a period of one (1) year commencing on the first day of the period for which such interest is payable and divided by three hundred sixty-five (365) or three hundred sixty-six (366), as applicable.

Interest on U.S. LOANS. Except as otherwise provided in Section 7.12,
Interest on U.S. Base Rate Loans Each Borrower shall pay interest on each U.S. Base Rate Loan owing by it during each Interest Period applicable thereto in United States Dollars at a rate per annum equal to the U.S. Base Rate in effect from time to time during such Interest Period plus the Applicable Pricing Rate. Each determination by the Agent of the U.S. Base Rate applicable from time to time during an Interest Period shall, in the absence of manifest error, be prima facie evidence thereof. Such interest shall be payable in arrears on each Interest Payment Date for such Loan for the period from and including the Drawdown Date or the preceding Conversion Date or Interest Payment Date, as the case may be, for such Loan to and including the day preceding such Interest Payment Date and shall be calculated on the principal amount of the U.S. Base Rate Loan outstanding during such period and on the basis of the actual number of days elapsed in a year of 365 days. Changes in the U.S. Base Rate shall cause an immediate adjustment of the interest rate applicable to such Loans without the necessity of any notice to any of the Borrowers.
