Common use of Insurance Continuation Clause in Contracts

Insurance Continuation. There shall be no liability whatsoever on the part of the Employer for any insurance premium payment for an employee or employees who are on layoff or leave of absence other than sick leave, beyond the month in which such leave of absence or layoff commences. If an employee is granted a sick leave of absence, the Employer agrees to continue its applicable insurance contribution for a period of ninety (90) days from the date such sick leave commenced.
