Common use of Insurance and Benefits Clause in Contracts

Insurance and Benefits. SECTION 1. Health & Life Insurances The City will continue to provide medical, dental, vision, and life insurance for the employee through the City County Insurance Services (CIS). The City will provide the same Regence Blue Cross High Deductible Health Plan with a Health Savings Account (HDHP-1 w/HSA) with a $1500/$3000 deductible, and Alternative Care Rider, Dental Option II, VSP (12/12/24) vision plan, and $10,000 Standard Life, or coverage that is substantially equivalent on the whole. The City will pick up the cost of the premium for Vision insurance for the employee only. Employees will continue to pay 100% of the cost of the premium for any dependents. In the event any of the above listed insurance plans are discontinued during the term of this agreement, the parties agree to negotiate for a successor policy related only to the discontinued plan.
