Instrumentation and Metering. Seller shall provide all instrumentation, metering and data collection equipment required to perform the test. Wherever possible, the instrumentation, metering and data collection equipment that will be used after the Commercial Operation Date for monitoring and controlling the operation of the Facility and collecting the data required for Seller to prepare and submit its monthly invoice to Department shall be used for the test. Seller shall calibrate or cause to be calibrated all such instrumentation, metering and data collection equipment no more than three (3) months prior to the date of the test. All electrical metering equipment shall utilize the plant’s installed CAILSO metering equipment calibrated to CALISO standards.
Instrumentation and Metering. Seller shall provide all instrumentation, metering and data collection equipment required to perform the SCT. The instrumentation, metering and data collection equipment electrical meters shall be calibrated in accordance with Prudent Operating Practice.

Whenever possible, all data will be accessed through the Storage Unit’s DCS.

Within thirty (30) days of Buyer’s receipt of Seller’s Proposed Test Plan, Buyer shall provide Seller with written notice of the temporary calibrated instrumentation deemed necessary by Buyer that will be used during the Commercial Operation Test. Wherever possible, the instrumentation, metering and data collection equipment that will be used after the Project achieves the Initial Delivery Date for monitoring and controlling the operation of the Project shall be used for the Commercial Operation Test. Seller shall calibrate or cause to be calibrated all such instrumentation, metering and data collection equipment no more than three (3) months prior to the date of the Commercial Operation Test. All electrical metering equipment shall utilize the Project’s installed CAISO metering equipment calibrated to CAISO standards. Copies of all calbration sheets shall be provided to Buyer at least five (5) Business Days prior to the Commercial Operation Test.

Instrumentation shall include all instruments permanently installed and any temporary instruments needed to acquire data for Seller to measure, record and determine the test data required pursuant to Part II.B. and demonstrate compliance with the “Maximum Permissible Standard Deviations” set forth in Part II.D. Within seven (7) Business Days of SCE’s receipt of Seller’s Proposed Test Plan, Seller shall provide SCE with written notice describing the temporary instrumentation required for and to be used during the ICOT. Wherever possible, the instrumentation, metering and data collection equipment used during the ICOT shall be the same used for monitoring and controlling operation of the Generating Unit(s) following the Test. Seller shall calibrate, or cause to be calibrated, all such instrumentation, metering and data collection equipment, permanent or temporary, no more than ninety (90) days prior to the date of the ICOT. Copies of all calbration records for the aforementioned instruments shall be provided to SCE at no less than seven (7) Business Days prior to the Test. The ICOT will be delayed on a day-for-day basis until such calibration records have been received by SCE. Whenever possible, data will be accessed through the Generating Unit(s)’ DCS. In addition, Seller shall provide a temporary Data Acquisition System (“DAS”) to monitor, record and measure data acquired by any temporary instruments. A pre- and post- Test Uncertainty Analysis will be provided by the Seller so as to quantify the impact from changes to the measured parameters necessary for the calculation of Contract Capacity and Heat Rate.
