Common use of Instructional Program Clause in Contracts

Instructional Program. 44 The Superintendent or his/her designee shall post the existence of regular District-wide instructional program 45 committees in each building each school year. Criteria for membership, contractual rate of pay, if offered, if 46 any, and the available openings on the committees, if any, shall be listed at the time of posting. Employees 47 shall have five (5) working days after the date of posting to indicate to the appropriate administrator their 48 desire to serve on said committee(s). Employees are not required to participate in district-wide committees 49 outside the seven and one-half hour (7.5) work day. Such participation is strictly voluntary. Administration 50 shall not coerce or intimidate employees to participate on committees, particularly employees new to the 51 District, and/or profession. Committee work outside of the seven and one-half hour (7.5) work day shall be 52 compensated at the stated professional rate of pay.
