INSTRUCTIONAL PLANNING TIME. Professional employees with classroom responsibilities shall be provided time daily for conferences and instructional planning as shown below. This time shall be included within the framework of the student school day. Teachers shall be compensated at the rate of $24.00 per hour to cover for loss of this time due to the teacher being assigned by the administration to cover for another teacher, or if the teacher’s regular assignment does not allow for any or all of the allowed planning time. Elementary teachers that are assigned extra students in the case that a substitute teacher is not available will receive $24.00 an hour.

INSTRUCTIONAL PLANNING TIME. Uninterrupted instructional planning time for classroom teachers shall be equivalent to one class period per day at the secondary level. At the elementary level, a minimum of 225 uninterrupted minutes will be scheduled during the work week with at least a 40- minute uninterrupted block scheduled each day, or as mutually agreed for a given building by the building principal and the majority of the building's teachers, provided the minimum of 225 minutes per week is scheduled. The Association will be notified of any proposed mutually agreed changes. When less than a full week is worked due to scheduled or non-scheduled school closure, vacations, holiday periods, or for other reasons, the daily uninterrupted instructional planning time shall be the same as a normal weekly schedule for the particular days worked. Uninterrupted instructional planning time for personnel other than classroom teachers shall be consistent with past practice. For the purposes of this section “uninterrupted” shall mean that the District will not schedule any required activity during the teacher’s instructional planning time, except for unusual circumstances, such as the only time a parent could meet or an emergency. Principals may ask teachers to cover a class (substitute) during their uninterrupted instructional planning time. The decision to cover a class (substitute) during this instructional planning time shall be voluntary. Teachers who elect to cover a class period during their uninterrupted instructional planning time shall be compensated for their time worked (a class period) at their daily salary rate, pro-rated accordingly.
INSTRUCTIONAL PLANNING TIME a. Teachers shall provide to students such hours as qualify as instructional time for state aide purposes that are necessary for the District to receive full state aide under §1284 of the School Code of 1976. Each teacher grades 6-12 shall be assigned a minimum of five (5) periods of conference, preparation or evaluation time per student week. It is understood that art, music, physical education, library, and other specials are part of elementary preparation time. Preparation time will be equitable within grade levels.
INSTRUCTIONAL PLANNING TIME. 1. Elementary buildings or PLC teams may vote annually to adopt a team collaborative plan program. The program shall consist of two hours per month for nine months. Meeting times shall be designated as team or grade-level plan and building collaboration. The purpose of this time is to promote collaborative planning. Related Service Professionals shall receive curriculum rate of pay.
INSTRUCTIONAL PLANNING TIME is member-directed and shall be free from student supervision. It is time designated for members to address a variety of assigned professional responsibilities. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assessment of student learning, individualized lesson planning, collaborative team planning, conferencing with parents or colleagues, preparation/grading of instructional materials, and professional research or development. Instructional Planning Time shall be in blocks of no less than thirty (30) minutes during the student day. Infrequently, administration may conduct meetings during this time. Instructional Planning time is important. Administration will work to minimize disruptions to this time. On days identified on the school calendar that includes parent teacher conferences and testing, planning time missed will not be rescheduled. It is a professional responsibility to structure schedules to accommodate instructional planning time requirements.

  • Planning Time A. Uninterrupted planning time sixty (60) consecutive minutes shall be provided daily within the normal work day for full-time teachers at elementary sites. Planning period adjustments may be made with the approval of the teacher if the adjustment does not decrease the number of minutes allocated for planning time.

  • Training Time When an employee is ordered by the County to attend training, the time spent in training shall be counted as hours worked. Training which takes place during off-duty hours with attendance voluntary is not hours worked.

  • Selection Planning Prior to the issuance to consultants of any requests for proposals, the proposed plan for the selection of consultants under the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Consultant Guidelines. Selection of all consultants’ services shall be undertaken in accordance with such selection plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.

  • Procurement Planning Prior to the issuance of any invitations to bid for contracts, the proposed procurement plan for the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines. Procurement of all goods and works shall be undertaken in accordance with such procurement plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.

  • Business Continuity Planning Supplier shall prepare and maintain at no additional cost to Buyer a Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”). Upon written request of Buyer, Supplier shall provide a copy of Supplier’s BCP. The BCP shall be designed to ensure that Supplier can continue to provide the goods and/or services in accordance with this Order in the event of a disaster or other BCP-triggering event (as such events are defined in the applicable BCP). Supplier’s BCP shall, at a minimum, provide for: (a) the retention and retrieval of data and files; (b) obtaining resources necessary for recovery, (c) appropriate continuity plans to maintain adequate levels of staffing required to provide the goods and services during a disruptive event; (d) procedures to activate an immediate, orderly response to emergency situations; (e) procedures to address potential disruptions to Supplier’s supply chain; (f) a defined escalation process for notification of Buyer, within two (2) business days, in the event of a BCP-triggering event; and (g) training for key Supplier Personnel who are responsible for monitoring and maintaining Supplier’s continuity plans and records. Supplier shall maintain the BCP and test it at least annually or whenever there are material changes in Supplier’s operations, risks or business practices. Upon Xxxxx’s written and reasonable request, Supplier shall provide Buyer an executive summary of test results and a report of corrective actions (including the timing for implementation) to be taken to remedy any deficiencies identified by such testing. Upon Xxxxx’s request and with reasonable advance notice and conducted in such a manner as not to unduly interfere with Supplier’s operations, Supplier shall give Buyer and its designated agents access to Supplier’s designated representative(s) with detailed functional knowledge of Supplier’s BCP and relevant subject matter.
