Instructional Models. School sites shall provide instruction to ensure continuity of learning for students remaining online and those choosing to attend onsite instruction.
Instructional Models. DDSD shall continue to offer CDL for the remainder of the school year while also offering some form of hybrid in-person learning. DDEA and the DDSD agree to work together to discuss the appropriate delivery methods of instruction within these models.
Instructional Models. AUSD Board of Education will decide to start the year with one of three different Instructional Models: • 100% IN PERSON • 100% DISTANCE LEARNING (See attached document for structure) • A HYBRID MODEL - (See attached document for structure) It will be the decision of the AUSD Board of Education to transition our schools from model to model as COVID guidelines change. AUSD will also be initiating a Virtual Academy to accommodate families that wish not to have their children physically report to school. The Virtual Academy will be modeled different than any of the three models listed above. The Virtual Academy is intended to provide distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. All Virtual Academy teaching positions will be filled with AUSD certificated employees. Any extension of the Virtual Academy beyond the COVID-19 pandemic will be negotiated between the District and AEA.
Instructional Models. The parties will continue to negotiate over the Instructional Models related to the commencement of in-person schools. The parties agree that there will continue to be a Distance Learning Only option available to students.
