Instructional Aides. The workday for full time instructional aides shall be at least four and one-half (4½) hours per day, inclusive of at least a half-hour break.
Instructional Aides. The work year for Instructional Aides shall be the same as that of the teaching staff.
Instructional Aides. There shall be one building aide at each elementary school (two at the Xxxxxx Devotion School).
Instructional Aides. A. The position of Instructional Aides in the school system shall continue for the duration of this agreement.
Instructional Aides. Any instructional aides employed by the Board of Education as of September 1, 2007 or any other current employee of the Board, employed as of September 1, 2007 who obtains either a bachelors degree or associates degree in education shall be placed on the Aides Guide #6 at the step closest to, but not higher than the current step of the salary guide of that employee. For purposes of this paragraph, the closest, but higher step shall be determined by the dollar value of that step.
Instructional Aides. 1. Upon successful completion of a probationary period of at least 90 days, an instructional educational aide shall be considered tenured, meaning that the assistant shall be provided with the rights of this Agreement, including transfer and bumping.
Instructional Aides. The normal workday is six and one-half (6½) hours per day which includes a one-half (1/2) hour duty-free unpaid lunch. The work year shall be the same as that of regular full-time teachers at the District. When acting in the capacity of a regular full-time teacher, the employee will receive preparatory time as scheduled pursuant to the contractual agreement between the Board and the Association.
Instructional Aides. The regular work year shall not exceed one hundred eighty-three (183) days.

Instructional Aides. There shall be a payment for accumulated years of service to instructional aides who have completed and filed an application for service, age or disability retirement under the New Jersey State Pension Plan. The Board will pay a stipend of $10 per day to a maximum of 150 days of remaining accumulated sick days to full time employees retiring with 10 or more years of completed service. Part time employees retiring with 10 or more years of completed service will be considered for a lesser stipend at the discretion of the Board. To be eligible for this stipend, the retiring employee must have satisfactorily completed their employment. Appropriate tax withholding will be deducted from the gross stipend. Should the retired employee die at any time prior to receipt of such payment, the payment will be made to his/her estate.
