Inspection and Test Records. Developer shall establish and maintain records that provide evidence that the product has been inspected and, as applicable, tested. These records shall show clearly whether the product has passed or failed the inspections and, as applicable, tests according to defined approval criteria. Where the product fails to pass any inspection and, as applicable, test, the procedures for the control of nonconforming product shall apply. Inspection and test records for inspections and tests performed by Developer, IFA, and, as applicable, a third party shall show whether the product has passed or failed according to defined approval criteria. A product that fails inspection becomes a nonconforming product. Also, the records shall identify the responsible inspection authority.
