Inspection and Certification. Prior to accepting System for coverage under a service plan, Roche reserves the right to inspect and certify that the System is functioning properly. All Systems must meet current performance standards and must be operated in an environment and configuration acceptable to Roche. Service (parts, labor and travel) required to bring the System to performance standards acceptable to Roche are not covered by the plans. This service must be authorized by the Customer and paid for prior to commencing service plan coverage. The cost for such service (parts, labor and travel) provided to the Customer will be invoiced at the rates in effect at the time service is provided. Systems covered under the product warranty issued at the time of purchase by Customer may be converted to service plan coverage without pre-inspection by Roche. Systems covered under a valid service agreement are exempt from a pre-inspection if renewing service plan.

Inspection and Certification. Upon completion and prior to closeout, the Awardee shall obtain the engineer's certification on RUS Form 771a for all construction completed using RUS Form 773 or the work order method. An authorized official of the Awardee shall execute the Awardee's certification.

RUS borrowers with less than 2000 subscribers may use the above procedure or have construction inspection performed by the GFR.

Inspection and Certification. Before certifying Work as acceptable, OPRD will inspect planted areas to verify compliance with Contract specifications. Each planting unit will be evaluated separately by establishing enough plots to achieve a maximum sampling error of 10 percent. OPRD reserved the right to vary the frequency of inspections and may elect to conduct daily inspections for the duration of the Contract. OPRD will notify Contractor when inspections are made so that Contractor may observe inspection Work, if desired. Certification of acceptable Work will be on the basis of each planting unit. OPRD will report unacceptable planting discoveries to Contractor as soon as feasible.
