Proof of compliance must be in the form of workers' compensation insurance, an independent contractor's exemption, or documentation of corporate officer status. Neither Contractor nor its employees are Department employees. This insurance/exemption must be valid for the entire contract term and any renewal. Upon expiration, a renewal document must be sent to the Department’s Contracts Management Bureau, X.X. Xxx 000000, Xxxxxx, XX 00000.

All self-insured retentions (SIRs) and deductibles shall be clearly stated on the Certificate of Insurance. If no SIRs or deductibles apply, indicate this on the Certificate of Insurance with a zero (0) by the appropriate line of coverage. Any self-insured retention (SIR) or deductible in an amount in excess of $25,000 ($5,000 for automobile liability), which shall specifically be approved by the County Executive Office (CEO)/Office of Risk Management upon review of Contractor’s current audited financial report. If the Contractor fails to maintain insurance acceptable to the County for the full term of this Contract, the County may terminate this Contract.

  • Compliance with Data Protection Laws Data Controller shall comply with all of its obligations under Data Protection Laws when Processing Personal Data.

  • SAFETY AND PROTECTION OF PROPERTY The Contractor shall at all times:

In signing this Agreement, the Contractor certifies, as required by Section 1861 of the California Labor Code, that it is aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the California Labor Code which requires every employer to be insured against liability for Worker's Compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of the Code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the work of this Agreement.
