Common use of Injured on Duty Clause in Contracts

Injured on Duty. 19.01 When a member of the Service is absent by reason of illness or injury occasioned by, or as a result of his/her duties within the meaning of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, the member will be entitled to his/her full pay and benefits while the member is thereby incapacitated, and there shall be no loss of accumulated sick credits. "Full pay" shall be interpreted so as to preclude the possibility of members receiving a greater net pay while on Compensation than while working.
