Initiation and trial period. For job titles for which a university degree is not required The employee chosen to fill the position shall be entitled to an initiation and trial period of no more than thirty (30) days of work. The purpose of this initiation and trial period is in part to familiarize the employee with the position or equip her/him to do it through the acquisition of additional theoretical or practical knowledge in the course of performing her/his duties. If the employee is kept in her/his new position at the end of this initiation and trial period, she/he shall, at that point, be deemed to meet the normal requirements of the job. In applying clause 1.11 of the National Provisions, if the former position to which the employee returns is held by another employee whose initiation and trial period is completed, the position shall be deemed to have not been awarded, until each of the employees thus affected is reinstated in her/his former position. Initiation and trial period. The employee granted the position is entitled to an initiation and trial period of a maximum of thirty (30) workdays. However, the employee who obtains a position with a job title requiring a university degree according to the List of job titles is entitled to an initiation and trial period of a maximum of sixty (60) workdays. The initiation and trial period includes the welcome and orientation period when this is five (5) workdays and less. Excluded from the calculation of the initiation and trial period are the excess orientation days. If the employee is maintained in her new position at the end of her initiation and trial period, she is deemed, at that time, to meet the normal requirements of the job related to the position obtained. The employee who decides to return to her former position during this period, or who is asked to return to her former position by the employer does so as soon as possible and without prejudice to her acquired rights in her former position. If the employee was not an incumbent of a position, she is reinstated on the availability list.
Initiation and trial period. The employee to whom a position is granted has the right to an initiation period within a trial period of a maximum duration of thirty (30) days of work.
