Common use of Initial Effective Date Clause in Contracts

Initial Effective Date. The initial effective date of coverage under the Group Insurance Program is the thirty-fifth (35th) day following the teacher’s first day of employment, re- hire, or reinstatement with the State. The initial effective date of coverage for a teacher whose eligibility has changed is the date of the change.
